Kusakabe India Pvt. Ltd., is a division of Kusakabe Electric and Machinery Co., Ltd., Kobe Japan established in 1916. The facility at Sri City is 100,000 sq.ft., a State of the Art electric Resistance Welding Mill, producing a broad product line of ERW mills. Kusakabe India Pvt. Ltd., designs and builds whole production line of ERW mills as a full range mill line maker. Magal Associates Master planned, engineered, designed and built including the Interiors of the office, amenities and infrastructure of the plant located in the Sri City SEZ spread over 5000 acres along National Highway 5, about 55 km north of Chennai along the border of two large southern states in India - Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Naidu. The plant is within the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) which is part of the work zone of Sri City for export oriented businesses.

Magal Associates coordinated with personnel of Sri City in seamlessly integrating the plant facilities with the available utilities and infrastructure like Roads, Power, Water, Sewerage, Telecom, Gas, Storm Water Drainage all provided within the SEZ.

Even the Intern Architects of the firm exhibited skills in dealing with regulatory work involved in seeking various permissions mandated by the Government of India and the local authorities.
